In the 20's  there was an amazing group of architects that forever changed the way we look at modern homes and furniture. To say that they were before their time is an understatement. Together they created an architectural movement called modernism. They made this new art form with few rules. Just that things were simple, uncluttered, geometric, and functional. It wasn't until later that the public caught on to what they were doing. Today this type of design has come to be called contemporary. It is now in a wider use, although it might have lost something from the days when it was the wave of the future. A bright and shinning new way of living simply and practically.
